Gold Line is a scheduled bus service in Northeastern Washington State, featuring two round trips per day between Kettle Falls and Spokane, WA. Gold Line operates its services without regard to race, color, and national origin. ADA ACCESSIBILITY –
All Gold Line vehicles are ADA equipped and drivers trained to operate the equipment. If you have any questions or concerns about ADA accommodations prior to your trip departure, please call (888) 739-5395.
RESERVATIONS –
Reservations can be made by phone by calling (888) 739-5395, online or in person at one of the following ticket sales locations:
Spokane Intermodal, 221 First Ave. (purchase tickets at the Amtrak or Greyhound counters)
Colville Rural Resources Community Action, 956 S. Main St.
Kettle Falls Chamber of Commerce, 425 W. 3rd Ave.
Day of departure tickets can be purchased at your desired boarding location based on space available. Reservations made curbside can be made with cash (exact change required) or by calling (888) 739-5395.
You confirmation number is your boarding pass. Please keep it accessible to board and/or make changes to your reservation.
MINORS TRAVELING ALONE
A completed and signed Minor Release Form is required to be on file at the Gold Line main office for a minor between the ages of 12- and 16-years-old may travel alone. Minors younger than 12-years-old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Click here to complete a Minor Release Form.
BOARDING LOCATIONS –
Select boarding locations require advance, prepaid reservations for service. If such a stop doesn’t have an advanced reservation scheduled for a specific trip, that vehicle will not stop at that location. Please view your desired location for complete details on the boarding location map.
REFUND POLICY –
After completing the purchase of your Gold Line ticket, the following applies:
If you cancel prior to your scheduled departure, you can turn the ticket into an “open ticket” and use it at a later date at no additional charge. An “open ticket” is valid for 12 calendar months. Or, you may request a refund, which will be accommodated with $5 refund processing fee.
SCHEDULE & BOARDING –
Please arrive at your boarding location a minimum of 10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. All departures leave on time. Prepaid reservations are valid until 5 minutes before departure before the seats may be opened to stand-by passengers.
Weather, road construction and other factors may affect operating conditions and affect shuttle on-time arrivals. As such, shuttle times can not be guaranteed.
DAYS OF OPERATION –
Gold Line operates 7 days a week, but is is closed for business on New Year’s Day, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. No shuttle service is available those five days.
LUGGAGE –
Each passenger is allowed 1 standard sized piece of luggage(as defined as under 50 lbs and 70 linear inches or less.) Additional bags are $15 each and limited to 50 lbs each. You are fully responsible for the correct identification and retrieval of your luggage.
LUGGAGE LIABILITY –
As provided by Washington state law (RCW 81.29.050), unless higher value is declared prior to transportation and agreed to in writing by CWA, Inc. (DBA Grape Line), property damage liability will be $25.00 for boxes and parcels, $100.00 for trunks, and $50.00 for suitcases, valises, and other items. Additional valuation will be charged at $1.00 per $100.00 or a fraction thereof.
PET POLICY –
Service animals are the only animals allowed to ride Gold Line.
CELL PHONES –
While riding the shuttle, please keep conversations short and quiet.
PASSENGER SAFETY –
No alcohol, drugs, firearms, or tobacco are allowed on board the bus.
RIGHT TO REFUSE TRANSPORTATION –
The company reserves the right to refuse to transport persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who may be infectious and spreading communicable diseases, who are incapable of taking care of themselves or whose conduct or behavior may be objectionable and not in the best interest of other passengers or Gold Line drivers. The company reserves the right to inspect and to refuse to carry any luggage/materials that the carrier or driver considers unsafe and not in the best interest of the other passengers.
